For four generations, the Zammit Group of Companies has been a cornerstone of Malta’s maritime, shipping, and logistics sectors. Originating in the early 20th century as a naval contractor to HMís naval ships and the US 6th fleet, the Group evolved into a diversified enterprise with strong operations in ship ownership and management, vessel chartering, Ro-Ro passenger services, marine procurement, and logistics.

Zammit group’s maritime heritage dates back to the mid-1900s, when it operated passenger and car ferry services between Malta and Gozo for 38 years before expanding into vessel ownership and chartering across the Mediterranean. Over the decades, the company has acquired, managed, and operated freighters, tugs, and passenger carriers, establishing itself as a key regional player.

Beyond shipping, the Group supports the oil and gas industry through equipment supply, offshore procurement, and marine spread management, serving international clients active in exploration and production.
