Port Logistics Operations is a Maltese company having the largest fleet of dedicated boats in Malta, that provide conveyance services within and beyond Malta’s territorial waters. The company, founded in 2008, quickly established a reputation for excellence, efficiency, timeliness and value for money in conveyance services. Its mission is “to build long-term relationships with our customers and provide efficient and safe conveyance services through ongoing investment in boats, technology and human resources.” The company was founded in 2008 and quickly established itself a reputation for excellence and efficiency in conveyance services. From an initial four pilot boats the fleet has grown to eight in number. This expansion was necessary to satisfy a growing market and the company’s goal is to consolidate our track record ensuring that the services that we provide meet our customer’s expectations.
Port Logistics Operations Ltd We currently employ 30 experienced Maltese crew members who are certified by Transport Malta (Malta’s transport authority) and who have, for the most part, been with the company since its inception. Port Logistics Operations offers various services, including the delivery of provisions, transportation of lubrication oil in drums, crew change services, personnel transfers, transfers of mooring masters, delivery of ship spare parts, carrying cargo samplings, transportation of medical supplies and medical personnel to and from the clients’ vessels, delivery of port services, disposal of garbage and support services to the movie industry. The organisation is in a position to offer personalised services through healthy, positive realtionships with clients. Port Logistics Operations has also invested heavily in oil response. In fact, it has recently acquired the oil response vessel MV Moor, and has invested in equipment to contain any oil spills that might occur. The organisation has also invested substantially in the training of personnel, enabling it to have a professional, fully-fledged oil response team around the clock.
