Profile:
Creek Developments Plc assumed management of the Msida & Ta’ Xbiex Marina in 2011, effecting its transformation into one of Malta’s premier yachting destinations through comprehensive upgrades and ongoing modernisation.
Renowned for its uniquely sheltered and central position within Malta’s foremost yachting district, the Msida and Ta’ Xbiex Marina is a genuinely all-weather facility, maintaining consistently high occupancy throughout the year. A vibrant community of winter visitors arrives when summer yachts relocate to the yard.
All berths at the Marina, whether positioned on accesscontrolled pontoons or stern-on to the quay, enjoy comprehensive services, which include networked water and electricity pedestals, CCTV surveillance, Marina Assistance 24/7/365, as well as showers, toilets, and laundry facilities. Utilities are accessed via prepaid cards.
Utility pedestals located on the Breakwater, Mamma Mia Quay, and Pontoons F, G, M, N, and O are equipped with 32 Amp sockets, whereas pedestals on the remaining pontoons are fitted with 16 Amp sockets. A few 63 Amp sockets are available for the larger boats.
Marina Assistants are on duty 24 hours, supported by two RIBs to provide berthing assistance, maintenance services, and security. The central channel is clearly marked with port and starboard lights on the ends of the pontoons. All pontoons and quays are outfitted with SOS cabinets containing fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and first aid kits, alongside life rings and safety ladders for enhanced safety. Pollution response equipment is securely stored in cabinets on either side of the Marina.
Waste & Recycling Management:
The Marina offers facilities for the collection of separated domestic waste from yachts. Bins are provided for recyclable, mixed, and organic waste. Additionally, the immediate vicinity features bring-in sites for the disposal of glass, cardboard, plastic, and waste metal, complemented by a BCRS machine for bottle collection.
Waste oil tanks are available for the responsible disposal of waste oil and oil filters. Black water pump-out services may be arranged through the marina office, subject to a fee.
Bunkering:
Road tankers authorised by Transport Malta to conduct bunkering operations may supply fuel to yachts berthed within the Marina.
