Strategically located within the Grand Harbour, Mediterranean Trading Shipping Co. Ltd boasts of a rich history dating back to its inception in 1946. The company compliments F.E. Sullivan & Co Ltd, a pioneer in Ship Chandling which was founded in 1860. From the very beginning, the company proved to be innovative in the local sphere. In 1947, run by Chev. Eric Sullivan, a veteran in the marine world and author of 6 Editions of ”The Marine Encyclopaedic Dictionary”, the company was the very first to hoist the Maltese Maritime Flag. Being in the forefront of the maritime sector, the family run business took the company to new heights with each passing generation. In 1984, the Directors decided to expand the activities to chartering, ship sale and purchase, where in a relatively short period of time, a fine reputation was also earned in these fields.

Logistics Management
The company operates 2000 square meters of covered storage and over 7000 square meters of open space all in customs controlled areas and with berthing facilities for vessels to load and unload, mob and de-mob alongside the same storage facilities on a 24/7 basis. This infrastructure empowers us in being optimum Logistics Management and Freight Forwarding Agents; who also provide transhipment services, land or sea insurance and the implementation of engineering projects within established time frames and terms.
Oilfield Services
