Green Skip Services is Malta’s foremost waste management company, operating its own IPPC permitted facility at Maghtab. Established in 1992, it has progressed into the company offering an integrated and fully comprehensive service for all types of waste. The types of include mixed/general waste, packaging / recyclable material, hazardous waste including oil sludges, contaminated packaging and oily rags, filters and similar items, and any other hazardous material as well as bulky items.
Green Skip Services offers also the removal of clinical waste and expired medicines, batteries, Waste electrical and electronic equipment. Asbestos removal is also provided on a case by case basis: a solution to all waste types. The experienced Green Skip team can manage and will prepare all the necessary documents requested by the local authorities and as required by the environmental authorities to transfer the waste from vessel for local treatment or for export, when local treatment is not possible.
Apart from the transfer documents and proof of service, Green Skip Services Ltd will provide the final certification required as proof of compliance regarding waste management according to the type of waste discarded.
Green Skip Services can also provide specialised containment for waste for long and short term hire or leasing, as well as on a sale basis. Spill containment material is generally available from stock, as are bags and bins, including sharps containers and specialised containers such as fireproof metal bins. The company prides itself in offering waste management services to Malta’s top industries and is an expert in this sector, whilst being compliant with local and EU regulations.
